Hope

Realisation
that nothing lasts for ever;
goodbye to childhood.
But in welcoming changes
all things become possible.

  1. Sweet "hope" reveals a step to maturity--not the goodbye but the realization.

  2. I like the optimism here, the recognition of good-byes as well as the welcoming of hellos!

  3. So very true, Jinksy. You made me realize that there are some changes I just can't welcome. (Getting new windows for the house would be good, though. LOL)

  7. YES! Saying goodbye to childhood actually takes quite a few years for some people, but I couldn't wait. And then the real adventure begins... a handful of words with an awful lot to say. Great writing, Jinksy! Amy
