Thursday Think Tank # 49

Untitled

Some things cannot be explained;
awareness creeps closer, on tiptoe,
while realization flows and flowers
from points beyond any conscious realm.

Elusive shapes pattern dream time paths
until route-march days, tramping along
unknown roads, lead to a destination
unplanned, but recognised on arrival
as the only possible, preordained end.

The Think Tank asked that we merely wrote down words that came to mind, no forward planning, simply let what happens, happen. These were my words... And then I added a picture.

  7. Jinksy,

    Very clever words, working well without a title!

  8. Jinksy,
    Thanks for your comment at my poem, which was of course titled!!!
    I'm sorry for the confusion, but I was not in the mood for 'school exercises'. I regard the title as the backbone of a poem, so therefore, without that I was less motivated, to bother this week.
    Instead, I wrote about the impending birth of my first grandchild! Just breaking the rules.

  11. Jinksy, love where your unfettered mind took you. I never title my poems until after they are written, because I really don't know where they are going til we get there. High five on this one,

    Elizabeth
