Seeing Is Believing?

In such a white out,
above snow covered country
the pilot was lost.

For Magpie Tales this week I have played with the image to make it fit my topical Haiku, with apologies and thanks to Willow!

  11. I haiku'ed it a bit today too--that was a great image: I 'm seeing a sled like an airplane to a child flying down a hill in a snowstorm, though who knows if that's what you meant. ;-) Either way, liked it.

  14. Dear Jinksy: A fitting Haiku considering the piles of snow this week! Is the picture an arial view of the snow-covered town? It sort of looks like a sled too, isnt THAT coincidental! Could you please explain the picture? You've got me thinking! Dangerous! :)

  18. Hi, Jinksy. Very clever haiku and view of the picture. It tells a complete story.

Yours is the second one I've read with a plane in trouble. And with a sled prompt! Very interesting.
