Be Cool!

by Penny Smith
Water-world
imagination
paints colours
in cool shades
to fill fevered hearts and minds
with serenity.

This is a shadorma I've written for In Tandem #6, a syllabic verse of 3/5/3/3/7/5 over six lines. I've also linked it to The Poetry Pantry.

  1. Well matched to the art piece. I tried the shadorma once or twice but just couldn't get things to flow properly.

  2. Serenity I could do with, after the day I've had.

  3. Perfectly matched shadorma. Seems to address your unrest there in England - fevered hearts indeed.
I love that form but have composed too many lately so I'm trying another sonnet this week for Tandem.

  6. Nice Jinksy, but I have not heard of that form got to think about it. I could not get into Jingle Poetry did I miss something? It says I am not invited.
