Summer heat
swirls round field and hill;
contours burn.

Siesta
holds an arid land
in stasis.

    Oh yes, this swirling radiating heat. I live in that painting almost ( in Missouri anyway). Left for the shore for a week ... meeting the kids and grand kids. AND ... here it pours. But even so it is nice to see rain, feel it and hear it.
