A camera tells
much about people who fall
under the gaze of its eye,
but he who clicks the shutter
offers his dreams to the world.
Written for The Mag, where Tess gave us a self portrait of Francis Bacon to play with. I chose to zoom in for this close up...
I like this thought provoking post Jinksy. Happy New Year to you.

I like where you took this ~
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I adore good brevity and you are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour in/out focus complete with shutter's click, is intriguing- but I can't leave comments on your blog...Hope you get to read this instead.
Delete'he who clicks' ~ there are always the moment before click....we need practice 'to click' more often...~ how 's your art plans? :)
ReplyDeleteI think my only plan is to follow my nose. LOL And that I do in fits and starts, as the mood takes me, dividing myself between all things creative. Recently I've been on a crochet kick - latest madness? Crocheted fairy cakes!
DeleteNo very true. I understand why some people feared pictures would steal their spirits.
ReplyDeleteOffers his dreams to the world...I love that...
ReplyDeleteSure is an generous offer for some!
ReplyDeleteAnd your images show so much creativity. This one is particularly fine.
ReplyDeleteAnd the all seeing eye sees into the soul.
