A New Day

The hatchling
danced in the dawn light.
Prying eyes
of the world
could not see her boundless joy
in new found freedom.

Inspired by Tess at Mag #112 and  her original image by djajakarta

  1. hopefully, she knew her own joy, sometimes people miss their own moments of joy and only focus on the negative, which is what the world around her seems to be doing.

birth death its all the same

  9. I feel that joy! I was housebound for 3 months with a broken foot, stepping outside again was bliss!

.....I can still make out the little doggie, bless it!

  11. Dali indeed. Wonderful picture. The joy of breaking free of one's shelled confines would certainly be yellow with joy.

  19. Pity the world keeps prying until Joy is under extreme duress, hard pressed just to survive.
