Newness

Every second's new;
each tick of a tocking clock
offers its own unique chance
for us to ensure the next
will be better than the last...

Thoughts inspired by Poets United, and their mid-week prompt.

  2. Yes. It is that clear. In fact, your poem might make me rethink my impatience with things that tick, might make me pick the seconds up instead of counting them down. Thank you!

  3. A great positive outlook! I recall my grandma's clock whose ticks and tocks rang loudly throughout her quiet little house, and how comforting was their sound of peace.

  6. We have a grandfather clock that rings every 30 minutes. Some days it seems to ring faster than others!

  7. I liked the positive uplifting message in this... sometimes we get so wound up we don't notice the minutes tick by...
