Seed Of An Idea

Negative
grows from positive;
sweep brush head's
created
as an artist embraces
dandelion dreams.

This has been produced for Day #22 at Writer's Island.

  1. Don't talk to me about dandelions! We're awash with them. Intriguing poem, though.

  2. 3 cheers for writing about dandelion, a severely underrated flower :)

  4. Very pretty! I like dandelions - such bright, cheery flowers, but they can be a pest. We once made dandelion wine. We had three slaves at the time so it was relatively easy to pick enough to make wine. We all had yellow hands but none of us wet the bed that night.

  5. I used to simply ignore dandelions, until I met Gwendolyn Brooks who called herself one. It made a world of difference,

  9. I like dandelions and I like what you did here. Turning a negative into a positive is my husband's favourite thing to do.

  12. Okay, I can pretend that I understand the poem, but that would be silly ;-)
    In Dutch dandelions are called paardebloemen. And a 'paard' is a horse. So I just have to like dandelions. But not in the borders. I don't mind a few of them in the grass ;-)
