Moonstruck

Once in a blue moon is not always right,
for the moon was bright red on the still summer night
when for the first time I found there was you.
Red and not blue.

A happy thought written in 160 characters for Monkey Man and now added to The Poetry Pantry as well.

  3. It does read like the other side of the coin!
Mine seems to be waiting for time when I'll be able to say 'night
when for the first time I found there was you.'

  7. Red, blue, or white, I can easily see the moon taking all one's attention, especially hanging out a window.
